With roots in the 1800s as a sheep shearing barn, our holiday cottages were lovingly converted to provide a romantic retreat for couples. Perfect for soaking up the tranquility and reconnecting. Our cottages are quirky and full of character, but with all the modern conveniences you need. High-speed fibre wi-fi and Smart TVs with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Now TV etc. will keep you entertained. Both cottages have full central heating plus a wonderful log fire to cosy up in front of. The bathrooms give you the choice of a modern walk-in spa shower or a large double-ended bath to indulge yourself. You have your own dedicated private parking space and we also have an EV charger for electric vehicles.
Enjoy the wide open spaces of our private picnic meadows and later marvel at the star-spangled Dark Skies of the Cambrian Mountains – Area of Astounding Natural Beauty. Meet our pet sheep and free range chickens in the Valley View seating area at the front of the cottages. The sheep are very friendly and love to get strokes and this is a great spot for sunset watching too.
Venture out to explore the lush green landscapes with secluded ancient forests, majestic mountains, historic castles and idyllic golden beaches all close by. For adventure seekers there is white water canoeing, horse riding, hill-hiking and epic cycling routes and mountain-bike trails. To relax, take a scenic steam train journey, a gentle stroll through a nature reserve or visit one of a myriad of vibrant historic market and harbour towns.
